SCOUT MUSEUM APP

Down syndrome is a chromosomal condition that causes delays in the way a child develops. It is associated with reduced fine motor controls and learning disabilities that affect everyday experiences, such as visiting the David Owsley Museum of Art. The museum wants to adopt a more inclusive design approach, and developing a tablet app that upholds accessibility guidelines and allows gradeschool users, both with and without Down syndrome, to explore the museum more easily would contribute to a more accessible and enjoyable experience.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

Children with Down syndrome typically need visual and auditory accommodations. They often crave structure and routine.
